K.O. is Star-Certified

In an effort to meet federal standards for ozone pollution new smog station laws have taken effect January 1, 2013. State law requires that a certain percentage of vehicles be taken to a Star Station for a smog test.. K.O. Automotive recently passed the performance standards for stations and inspectors and was Star-Certified by the Bureau of Automotive Reapir. Being Star-Certified means that K.O. Automotive can now smog test ANY vehicle as well as repair those vehicles.

The Bureau of Automotive Repair offers a Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) for those who fail a smog check and cannot afford the repairs. For more information please visit www.smogcheck.ca.gov.
